INFUSIONS

At ONE POINT EIGHT we craft infused cocktails. An infusion is the process of extracting compounds (flavours) from ingredients by suspending them in alcohol.

You can infuse just about anything into a spirit. This gets very fun when we’re feeling experimental! It also means that it’s real ingredients that you’re tasting when you drink a ONE POINT EIGHT cocktail.

Our infusion process also captures the aroma of these flavour molecules to create cocktails that ignite the senses. These compounds bind to the alcohol and when tasted impart a depth that makes for a truly unique drinking experience.

ESPRESSO MARTINI

Crafted with coffee that is roasted especially for us, we cold brew the ground beans and combine it with our chosen infused spirit (as well as vodka, we’ve mastered bourbon, rum, and gintinis!). We then finish with Black Ei8ht, a coffee rum liqueur we created with boutique Pirates Grog rum, to add chocolate and vanilla notes.

  • ESPRESSO RUMTINI

    Think the classic, but even better! It has rum as the base so slightly sweeter with vanilla dn butterscotch tones thanks to Pirate’s Grog Rum.

  • MAPLE OLD FASHIONED

    Buffalo Trace Bourbon infused with orange zest, bitters and maple syrup. YUM!

  • SMOKED TOMMY’S MARGARITA

    Think Margarita, think Agave, think smoked foods, think Tommy…. why have you got Tommy’s cocktail?

  • MAI TAI

    A fruity infusion that screams summer with Pirates Grog Rum infused with orange, lime, orgeat and pineapple.

  • BLOOD ORANGE COSMO

    A Spanish twist on a classic Cosmo with hints of blood orange, lime and pink peppercorn

  • NEGRONI

    Gin, Campari & sweet vermouth infused with orange zest. Simple and classic.

  • PEACH & BASIL GINPRIOSKA

    Super refreshing gin cocktail. Subtle basil, sweet peach, crisp lemon.

  • HIBISCUS GIN SOUR

    A tarty and sweet gin sour with sweet undertones thanks to fresh British strawberries. So much better than a Pimms.

  • ESPRESSO MARTINI

    First in the UK to offer this game changer on tap. Made with cold brew coffee for a more delicate flavour and the award winning Black Ei8ht Coffee Rum Liqueur. Big chocolate flavours.

  • PIRATE PUNCH

    A Caribbean punch with the only exported Honduran Rum, Pirate’s Grog Rum. Infused with pineapple and cinnamon, lengthened with lime, bitters, ginger and hibiscus.
